KICK YOUR SUGAR HABIT WORKSHOP AND COOKING CLASS - 201 - THE MIND
This is a great class for people who have taken the first Kick the Sugar habit workshop, and want to build on their knowledge. The focus in Dr. Jodi’s education will be on understanding how the mind plays into our habits and addictions, especially something as addictive as refined sugar! If you feel out of control when it comes to eating sugar, and it is affecting your health in any way - low energy, mood, or weight to name a few! This workshop is for you. You will leave armed with an understanding and awareness on how important the mind is, when it comes to making changes with really addictive foods like sugar.
Carolyn will then move into a full cooking class for harm reduction! Using only clean ingredients, she will teach you how to nourish your sweet cravings, without harming your body!!
A full meal will be served at each class, as well as tastes of all the healthy treats!
Date: February 7, 2019

Daring Greatly™ teaches us how to cultivate a growing sense of enough-ness so that we get out of our own way, show up, be seen and live brave in our lives. It’s about doing worthy work. Taking off the armour and moving to a place of truth and connection, creating a life of meaning and fulfilment — one in line with our deepest desires.
This interactive workshop is based on Dr. Brené Brown’s 15+ years of ground-breaking research. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and a courage practice that transforms the way we live, love, parent and lead. We offer you the tools needed to restructure your internal world, to treat yourself with value and thus those around you in kind.

This workshop is an intensive dive into understanding what self-care truly is and why it is a pertinent part of survival as a human being in this fast-paced life.. We will be exploring the importance of self-care through the different phases and stages of life and the many demands on our system. How do you define it, prioritize it and really live it? And, why is it a key component to a life full of vital health and abundance.
It is easy to feel like its more important to take care of others before ourselves. But turning our backs on our needs and ourselves won’t help us thrive and expand in our life. In fact, it leads to increased stress, anxiety, depression and many other health ailments.
Join Dr. Jodi Larry, Naturopathic Doctor and Yoga teacher and Coach, Sari Nisker Fox as they share their passion for self-care as a non-negotiable part of life and the importance of specific practices to dramatically shift your health and well-being.
We both believe strongly in WHOLE HEALTH and tending to every aspect of self, therefore, this workshop will focus on self care tools for the WHOLE being - emotional, mental, physical and spiritual health. The four realms of your self.
Through guided group discussions, education, and self-inquiry you wll leave with many concrete actions and practices that you can begin to take to fulfill and actualize self-care and increase your health.
The Self-Care revolution starts with you. It would be our honour to guide you. Together we rise.
